Every beam is specified side by side, A to D, with nominal and actual dimensions both on the sheet: the eight by eight you talk in, and the seven and a quarter it actually is. Beams mount over concealed cleats and fasten from the top, never through the faces.

A steel girder that has to read as timber, a span nobody stocks, a grid hung from a commercial ceiling. Because every beam is built hollow, to the drawing, the odd conditions price like work, not like problems.

Send the condition as it actually is, photos, a field sketch, the framing plan, and we will come back with the beam that solves it. Solid beam material up to 33 feet long rides our own truck.
